Kanye West Allegedly Told Sound Engineer To ‘Go Find God’ After Firing Him For Sleeping In

Tardiness may be one of Kanye West‘s biggest pet peeves!

Yesterday (Tuesday, Sept. 7th), DJ Akademiks uploaded a screenshot that was allegedly taken by one of Kanye West‘s sound engineers. The screenshot is of a text conversation, and it seemingly shows Kanye West firing the engineer for sleeping in late. DJ Akademiks captioned the upload:

“Allegedly this is messages between one of #kanyewest engineers and him. Recently his iCloud was hacked so people found out the real reason why he was fired allegedly.”

The text conversation shows a person saved under the name “KW” write:

“Good morning. Let’s work.”

However, about two hours later, “KW” followed up by texting:

“You’re fired. Go home.”

The recipient then responded:

“I’m really sorry. I have no excuse I set an alarm for 7:30 a.m. And for whatever reason my phone wasn’t alerting me I woke up at 11:08 to missed calls and I got dressed as fast as I could Lou was already on his way to get boogz and they just got here. I didn’t call back right away cause I was in panick [sic] trying to find a ride. I know this is unacceptable… I’m sorry.”

Shortly thereafter, “KW” replied:

“Stop texting. Go find God.”

Despite the allegation, it is unconfirmed whether or not “KW” is really Kanye West.
