Jermaine Dupri Challenges Diddy To A Verzuz Battle, Diddy Responds: Your Arms Too Short To Box W/ God! + Says He’d Only Go Against Dr. Dre
Jermaine Dupri and Diddy recently got into a brief back-and-forth on social media!
Last night (Tuesday, Sept. 14th), Fat Joe and Ja Rule went head-to-head in a Verzuz battle at Madison Square Garden in New York City. While attending the rappers’ Verzuz, Jermaine Dupri challenged Sean “Diddy” Combs to a battle through social media!
The matter began on Instagram when Jermaine Dupri called Diddy out in an upload. After posting an image of himself at Madison Square Garden, Jermaine Dupri wrote:
“Somebody let @diddy know I’m [at] @thegarden right now! And he gon’ need some training for me.”

Diddy then shadily responded to Dupri via Twitter. In his reply, Diddy claimed he’s on a different level than Jermaine Dupri, and he also stated Dr. Dre is his only worthy contender:
“Beloved you my n***a but your arms too short to box with God!!! You aiint got enough hits. I’ll smash you with just Biggie n Mary. But I do have the upmost respect on you as a musical legend–Dre the only one [who] can get in the ring w me. -LOVE.”

Jermaine Dupri then issued a brief response to Diddy‘s tweet:
“Don’t nothin’ get straightenin’ but straightenin.”

These lyrics are from “Straightenin” by Migos.
