Nicki Minaj’s Claims That Her Cousin’s Friend Suffered ‘Swollen Testicles’ From COVID-19 Vaccine Get Shut Down By Trinidad & Tobago Health Minister & Anthony Fauci

Nicki Minaj’s vaccine tweets are still getting lots of attention as health professionals join the conversation and debunk her claims.

During a controversial tweet storm earlier this week, Nicki Minaj expressed why she’s hesitant to get the vaccine.

She later shared a story and alleged,

“My cousin in Trinidad won’t get the vaccine cuz his friend got it & became impotent. His testicles became swollen. His friend was weeks away from getting married, now the girl called off the wedding. So just pray on it & make sure you’re comfortable with ur decision, not bullied”

Now, the health minister of Trinidad and Tobago, Terrence Deyalsingh, has responded. He said earlier today (Sept. 15),

“Claims are being made. One of the reasons we could not respond in real time to Ms. Minaj is because we had to check and make sure that what she was claiming was either true or false. Unfortunately, we wasted so much time yesterday running down this false claim.”

He continued,

“It wasted our time yesterday. Trying to track [it] down. Because we take all these claims seriously — whether it’s on social media or mainstream media. As we stand now, there is absolutely no report of testicular swelling in Trinidad — and none that we know of anywhere else in the world.”

Dr. Anthony Fauci also told CNN last night (Sept. 14) that Nicki Minaj,

“should be thinking twice about propagating information that really has no basis.”

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has also said there’s no research that proves the COVID-19 vaccine causes infertility issues.
