Bobby Brown Thinks ‘The Bodyguard’ Remake Is ‘A Bad Move’
While a remake of the classic film The Bodyguard has been given the green light at Warner Bros., not everyone is a fan of the 1992 movie getting a revival.
As previously reported, a remake of The Bodyguard, which starred Whitney Houston and Kevin Costner, is in the works.
It will be written by Tony-nominated playwright Matthew López. Lawrence Kasdan of Kasdan Pictures, as well as Dan Lin and Jonathan Eirich of Rideback, will serve as producers for the project. The cast for the film has yet to be announced.
Bobby Brown, who was married to Whitney Houston from 1992-2007, said he’s not here for a revival. When asked if he thought it was a “a bad move” he said,
“Yeah.”
He wasn’t alone as several social media users shared similar sentiments online. See reactions to the remake below.
