Cardi B Responds To Critics Who Claim She’s Going To Jail Over Pending Legal Issues
Cardi B recently clapped back at people on Twitter for poking fun at legal issues she’s currently dealing with. As previously reported, 29-year-old Cardi B, born Belcalis Almánzar, is due in court on October 25 for the reckless endangerment and assault charges she’s facing. The ‘WAP’ rapper pleaded not guilty to all 12 counts in 2019. Cardi B was accused of setting up an assault against two bartenders, the Wattley sisters, at a Flushing, Queens strip club in 2018. Reportedly, Cardi orchestrated the attack because one of the sisters was allegedly having an affair with her husband, Offset, 29. If convicted, Cardi faces four years behind bars.

“Before I go to prison you gone see me breakin more records and making more Ms [tongue emoji]”

In a now-deleted tweet, another person encouraged Cardi to get the “best lawyers” because “Offset ain’t gon be there for your kids.”
Cardi continued with her clap back spree and tweeted,
“My man is allow to be with his kids so what’s your point ?”

A fan of the Grammy-Award-winning rapper soon joined the conversation in her defense and said,
“The disrespect is taken to a whole new level Leave those kids out of your hatred for Cardi”
Cardi agreed with their tweet and replied,
