Life has come full circle for Drake!
Canadian rapper/actor Drake, 35, is probably one of the most known entertainers worldwide. He initially gained recognition by portraying Jimmy Brooks in the popular TV series ‘Degrassi: The Next Generation’ during the early 2000s. Since then Drake, full name Aubrey Drake Graham, has gone on to achieve bigger and better things including; holding several Billboard Hot 100 chart records, launching his own record label, OVO Sound, and winning four Grammy Awards.

The father of one is definitely living out his dream life. However, in a recent Instagram post, Drake shared how things for him weren’t always this great and he previously had to pretend that he was living a life of luxury. Drake revealed that back in 2007 he and his friends would rent a Rolls Royce Phantom to convince people in their city they were ‘destined to make it.’ Thankfully, the ‘Girls Want Girls’ rapper’s ‘extreme manifesting’ methods paid off for not just him but his friends as well.
According to Drake, one of his friends recently bought him the exact Rolls Royce Phantom they once rented. Drake shared a throwback video of the vehicle and a more recent picture of himself standing next to the Phantom. He captioned the motivational post,
“Back in 2007 we used to finesse this Rolls Royce Phantom rental to convince people in the city we were destined to make it. I used to scrape together 5k a month somehow to keep up appearances. We whipped this to Ottawa to see @belly and @cashxo and to Montreal for my first show ever. I used to pick up @ovoniko and roll every day or wait outside @nebzilla class for her. Park outside 15 Fort York while me and @ovo40 and @oliverelkhatib would be upstairs cooking what would eventually become So Far Gone.”
He continued,
“Even though I don’t recommend putting yourself in financial trouble for material things I realize now that this was just my way of extreme manifesting. I needed to see it and feel it and have it to believe that I could see and feel and have anything I wanted. Today in 2021 my brother @futuretheprince tracked down the exact car I use to stress over and gifted it to me…it’s mine now. Manifestation complete.”
He added,
“Thank you for all the love and appreciation and gifts and texts and dm’s…more than just loved I feel truly appreciated and that is the only gift I ever needed. TREY FIVE EASY MONEY DRIZZY. let’s get this shit. BLICK EMMMMMM”
