Caitlyn Jenner Says O.J. Simpson ‘Got Away With’ Nicole Brown’s Murder: Obviously He Did It
O.J. Simpson might have been acquitted for the murder of his ex-wife over 25 years ago, but Caitlyn Jenner still thinks he’s guilty.
The former NFL star was accused of killing his former wife, Nicole Brown, but was acquitted in 1995.
While on the Australian reality show “Big Brother VIP”, Caitlyn Jenner discussed her connection to the trial. At the time, Caitlyn Jenner went by Bruce Jenner and was married to Kris Jenner, the ex-wife of Robert Kardashian, Sr., who was a member of O.J. Simpson’s defense team.
Caitlyn recalled,
“I was at Nicole’s house two days before the murder. Nicole [Brown Simpson] was Kris’ best friend [and] had been for a long time.”
She said of O.J. Simpson’s alleged involvement,
“Obviously he did it, and he got away with it… At one point he even told Nicole, ‘I’ll kill you and get away with it, ’cause I’m O.J. Simpson.'”
Caitlyn Jenner added that Nicole Brown didn’t take the alleged threat lightly.
“Nicole relayed that on to Kris at one point, and unfortunately she was right. We were at the courthouse, we were watching what was going on in the other room, and even after the not guilty verdict, the first thing Kris [does is she] turns around to me and goes, ‘We should have listened to Nicole, she was right, right from the beginning.'”
This isn’t the first time Caitlyn Jenner has shared her thoughts on O.J. Simpson. In 2019, she gave a similar account of the day Simpson’s verdict was announced. Caitlyn said while on a different reality show, “I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here”,
“It was a bad time for everyone, very difficult. We knew what happened and that the trial was a joke and when the verdict came, Kris just turns around to me and goes, ‘We should’ve listened to Nicole from the very beginning. She was right.’”
She continued,
“That night that the verdict came in, Kourtney and Kim were in school and they loved their father, of course- and they should. And they had been following this for a year and a half at that point. And when they walked in the door- I think it was Kourtney who just said, ‘Well, I told you he did not do it.’ And I said to the girls, ‘Just because he got a not-guilty verdict, it didn’t mean he did not do it. And I do not want his name ever mentioned in this house again.”
