Ex-NBA Star Kevin Garnett Denies Ever Telling Carmelo Anthony That La La Anthony Tasted Like Honey Nut Cheerios: I’m A Frosted Flakes Man

Kevin Garnett recently shut down an eight-year-old rumor!

Back in 2013, many were shocked to hear speculation that former NBA star Kevin Garnett had told Carmelo Anthony a questionable comment about then-wife La La Anthony. Allegedly, Kevin Garnett told Carmelo Anthony that his wife tasted “like Honey Nut Cheerios” during an argument.

While the rumors date back eight years, Kevin Garnett is coming out with claims that they are not true. The former athlete recently stated:

“I’ve never said anything about anyone’s family. I’ve never said anything to Melo about La La. I’m a Frosted Flakes man. I’m not a Honey Nut Cheerios guy. I never knew where that came from. Let me clear that up.”

La La Anthony also denied the speculation back in 2014, revealing:

“Kevin Garnett in fact had never said that I tasted like Honey Nut Cheerios. I tried to figure out how this big lie was turned into a media firestorm. I still can’t answer that one… Melo and Kevin are cool today. And now it’s nothing but a faint memory.”

This news comes about five months after La La Anthony filed to divorce Carmelo Anthony. The pair got married back in 2010, and they share a 14-year-old son together.
