Mike Tyson’s Ex Bodyguard Reveals Boxer Needed To Have Sex Before A Match Or He Would ‘Kill’ His Opponent
We’ve heard some strange stories about former heavyweight brute Mike Tyson over the years; however, this previously untold story might be the strangest one yet.
Mike Tyson had a notorious reputation for being one of the most terrifying opponents in the ring. But it could’ve been worse if he didn’t take part in a pre-match ritual: having sex.
With the 35th anniversary of earning his “youngest heavyweight” title approaching, Mike Tyson’s associates have been reminiscing about his career. His ex-bodyguard Rudy Gonzalez revealed that Tyson’s most effective anger management technique was having sex with groupies before a fight. He shared:
“One of the greatest secrets with Mike was that he needed to have sex in the dressing room before fights.”
He continued:
“I would have to find a groupie, it did not matter who it was. He’d say ‘if I do not get laid I will kill this guy right now.’”
He added:
“Mike had to get laid to disengage some of the strength he had. So I had girls tucked away in bathrooms and changing rooms. Sometimes he’d go in with them for a minute, bang the s*** out of them, snap his neck and say: ‘Okay this guy is going to live tonight.'”
Tyson has also been open about his drug use, which has aided in managing his psychological issues. He recently expressed his advocacy for Toad Venom, an illegal drug that he claimed “killed” him. Of the dangerous substance, Tyson stated:
“Before I did the toad, I was a wreck. The toughest opponent I ever faced was myself. I had low self-esteem. People with big egos often have low self-esteem. We use our ego to subsidize that.”
