Stevie J’s Divorce Attorney Files Motion To Drop Him As A Client Due To An Irremediable Breakdown
Stevie J appears to be in the market for a new divorce attorney.
According to The Grio, Stevie J’s divorce lawyer Kimia Klein, of the law firm Fox Rothschild LLP, wants to cut ties with the ‘Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta’ star. Reportedly, Klein filed a motion last week (Dec. 28) to dismiss Stevie J, 50, as a client. Stevie J’s soon-to-be-ex-lawyer cited an “irremediable breakdown” in their relationship as the reason for her request to stop working with the producer. Klein’s legal documents state,
“Despite several attempts by my office to informally resolve the issues with Steven, we have been unsuccessful in resolving the issues.”
The documents add,
“The relationship has broken down sufficiently so that my colleagues and I cannot continue to represent.”
According to court records, a hearing date to resolve the matter has been set for March 28.

As previously reported, Stevie J married Grammy-Award-winning singer Faith Evans, 48, in 2018. After having a seemingly rocky marriage, Stevie J filed for divorce from Faith Evans last November. That same month he also accused the ‘I Love You’ singer of infidelity. In December Stevie J requested a monthly spousal support stipend from Faith Evans. However, shortly after his filing, Evans asked for the judge to dismiss his request.
