Asian Doll Speaks Out After Walking Out During Podcast After Argument With Male Host, “I Knew What He Was Tryna Do”
Asian Doll is speaking out after things got heated between she and a male podcast host. On Monday (Jan. 3), the 25-year-old rapper walked out of the Fresh & Fit podcast after things got intense between herself and the show’s co-host Myron Gaines (aka “Fit”). In a now viral clip, host Myron Gaines appeared to be upset that Asian Doll also known as Asian Da Brat, was having a conversation with one of the show’s guests while other people were talking. Gaines abruptly stopped the conversation and said,
“Guys, sidebar conversation, please. You know this is the fifth time I told you that, right? Like stop, for real, like stop.”
Asian Doll responds saying,
“He mean as f*ck”
Gaines’ co-host, Walter “Fresh” Weekes seemingly defended Gaines, saying Doll continued to have other conversations during the podcast, which apparently breaks the show’s “rules.” Gaines continues to defend himself and said,
“She’s been doing it for the whole show, I’m not mean as f*ck. I just have rules, simple.”

Asian Doll then called him a “mean ass n***a” under her breath, and the two kept going back and forth which lead to Gaines kicking her out of the podcast taping. He said,
“Okay, then you can get the f*ck off the show, too. … You can go. You’re not gonna come on the platform disrespecting me.”
The other host attempted to diffuse the situation, insisting that Asian Doll does not leave and asking Gaines to chill out, but at this point, things got too heated to continue the podcast episode. On Tuesday (Jan. 4), Asian Doll took to Twitter to explain her side of the story. She wrote,
“I was so calm yesterday cause I knew what he was tryna do… Mr. Freddy cougar was Finna get beat down elm street off camera I’m thankful for the growth & self control & im happy I defended another black woman cause he was treating her sooooo bad ugh!”

A fan commented on doll’s tweet, applauding the rapper for maintaining her cool during the heated exchange. Asian Doll responded,
“Yeah its 2022, we ain’t doing allat”

Once the video clip went viral, social media users quickly came to Asian Doll’s defense. See reactions below:
