Wack 100 Reveals DJ Kay Slay Is Battling COVID-19: He’s On A Ventilator, It’s Not Looking Good
Over the past few weeks, there has been a significant increase in Covid-19 cases, primarily due to the new Omicron variant that is sweeping across the globe. Sadly, another celebrity in the hip hop community has been affected by the virus. On Wednesday (Dec. 5) Wack 100 revealed that DJ Kay Slay, 55, is battling Covid-19. The 43-year-old rapper/executive took to his Instagram to share the news that DJ Kay Slay has been fighting Covid for the past 14 days and has been placed on a ventilator. Wack 100 wrote,
“Pray for my brotha @djkayslay It’s not looking good. He might be mad at me for this those that know Slay but he needs all the support he can get … Been 14 days fighting Covid and he’s just be put on a ventilator . Keep him in your prayers Please.”

Almost immediately, the prayers and kind words started pouring in for DJ Kay Slay. Various DJ’s and music artist such as Uncle Murda, Twista, Peter Gunz and Musiq Soulchild commented sharing their well wishes.



Over the past few weeks, there have been several celebrities who have recently tested positive for Covid-19, including: LL Cool J, Lupita Nyong’o, and Jimmy Fallon, to name a few.
We’re hoping DJ Kay Slay will pull through and have a speedy recovery! Prayers to him and his family.
