It looks like Whoopi Goldberg’s pockets will be taking a hit due to her controversial remarks about the Holocaust.

As previously reported, earlier this week Whoopi Goldberg, 66, was suspended from “The View” for two weeks for claiming that the,

“Holocaust isn’t about race. It’s not about race. It’s not about race. It’s about man’s inhumanity to man.”

According to recent reports, Whoopi Goldberg, who makes $5 million per year from “The View,” was suspended without pay. This means that the EGOT entertainer will reportedly lose out on her $192,000 paycheck during her two-week mandatory hiatus from the popular talk show. An insider recently spoke on Goldberg’s unpaid suspension and said,

“Whoopi is welcome to return after her unpaid two-week suspension. She took the news well and understood where the network was coming from.”

The ‘Sister Act’ actress didn’t waste any time issuing an apology to those she offended. In a statement released on her social media accounts, she said,

“On today’s show, I said the Holocaust ‘is not about race, but about man’s inhumanity to man.’ I should have said it is about both. As Jonathon Greenblatt from Anti-Defamation League shared, ‘The Holocaust was about the Nazi’s systematic annihilation of the Jewish people–who they deemed to be an inferior race.’ I stand corrected.”

She continued:

“The Jewish people around the world have always had my support and that will never waiver. I’m sorry for the hurt I have caused.
