Kourtney Kardashian Reveals IVF Medication Caused Early Menopause
It seems like Kourtney Kardashian is getting really personal on her family’s upcoming Hulu reality series “The Kardashians.”
As previously reported, last June, after 20 seasons, the final episode of “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” aired. Since then, the family has decided to take their talents over to Hulu for a brand new reality series. Recently the streaming service dropped a trailer for the upcoming project, which shows Kourtney Kardashian, 42, revealing that she wants to have a baby with her fiancé Travis Barker, 46.
Following the release of the trailer, a clip from the show was leaked online that features Kourtney Kardashian talking about some of the hurdles she faced after deciding to try and have another baby. In the video, Kourtney shares with her mom, Kris Jenner, 66, that she’s undergoing IVF (In vitro fertilization) treatments.
“Travis and I want to have a baby and so my doctor took us down this road of doing IVF, and it hasn’t been the most amazing experience.”
She then reveals some side effects the treatments have caused, such as weight gain and early menopause.
“Every single person on social media is always like, ‘Kourtney’s pregnant, Kourtney’s gained so much weight.’ And I’m like, it’s so rude to comment on people when you have no idea what they’re actually going through.”
She continues,
“The medication they’ve been giving me, they’ve put me into menopause.”
After her mom appears to be shocked, Kourtney adds,
“Yes, literally menopause.”
Kourtney shares 3 children with her ex-partner Scott Disick, 38. Travis Barker has 2 children of his own from previous relationships. “The Kardashians” is set to air on Hulu on April 14.
