Kodak Black Says Latto Isn’t Referring To Him When She Said A Male Rapper Didn’t Want To Clear Their Feature Because She Wouldn’t Respond To His DM: That Mulatto Girl IS NOT Talkin Bout Me Homie
Kodak Black is setting the record straight and clearing his name!
In the anticipation of her upcoming album, ‘777’ Latto got candid and admitted during a radio interview that one of the male rappers featured on her album gave her a hard time because she didn’t answer his direct messages. The 23-year-old Atlanta rapper vocalized the struggles as a female rapper and working with men who don’t know how to keep it professional. Latto even expressed her most recent struggle where a male artist did not want to clear their feature on her album due to her not responding to his DM.
“Being a female rapper, I’m clearing my album right now. It’s been difficult to deal with these men. You know what I’m sayin’? They don’t know how to keep it business.”
“I don’t care, baby. I’ma just keep it 100. It’s a feature on my album. It was difficult to clear and they tryna drop they nuts on me because I won’t respond to a DM.”
Latto did not name the artist, which led fans to quickly speculate and name Kodak Black as the culprit. Last month, Kodak made some alarming comments about working with female artists, stating that they need to sleep with him in order to secure his feature. During an interview with The Breakfast Club, Kodak said,
“Look, my female artists, this is how it is. ‘Cause I know n***as and sh*t like that, I gotta bust ’em. They ain’t gotta be my girlfriend but I’ma bust ’em.”
Now, “The Super Gremlin” rapper wants to clear his name! On Tuesday (Mar.22) Kodak Black, took to Twitter to clarify that Latto is not talking to him.
“That Mulatto Girl IS NOT Talkin Bout Me Homie. See Y’all Steady Reachin Lol … Shawty Ain’t Even Say A N***a Name On Dat Shit Ion Know Why Tf Y’all Tryna Make A N***a Wear Dat Jacket I’m Too Fly Fa Dat Shit Homie.”
