RHOA Cast Reshot Their Promo Photos & Paid For It Themselves

It looks like the ladies of ‘The Real Housewives Of Atlanta‘ weren’t too fond of their original cast photo for the upcoming season and chose to re-do it themselves!

According to sources, the ladies of the hit reality show wanted to take marketing for season 14 to a whole new level. With mixed reviews of the ladies original cast photo, it looks like RHOA cast quickly took charge.

On Monday (Apr. 25) fans were surprised when several cast members began posting new promo pics for season 14.

RHOA insider, Anthony Dominic, took to Twitter on Wednesday (Apr. 27) to confirm that the ladies did indeed re-shoot their cast photo and revealed that the cast funded this shoot on their own without the help of Bravo. Anthony wrote,

“A lot of people are asking me about the #RHOA promotion. It’s true that the women funded this themselves, Bravo had nothing to do with it. In fact, Bravo had no clue they were doing it. The ladies felt they needed to take marketing/pr into their own hands for the upcoming season.”

He went on to reveal that the ladies felt like other franchises like ‘The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills’ get new photos every year while RHOA gets new pics every couple years.

“Marlo canceled last minute, that’s why she’s not in the video promo but was photoshopped into the photo. The ladies felt other franchises, like #RHOBH get new promos/photos and theirs are refreshed every 3 to 4 years. And that’s why #RHOA stays top-tier!”

The highly anticipated season 14 of ‘The Real Housewives Of Atlanta‘ returns this Sunday (May 1). Kandi Burruss, 45, Kenya Moore, 51, and Drew Sidora, 36, have all returned for the upcoming season. OG castmate Sheree Whitfield, 52, makes her comeback after taking a break, and longtime friend of the series Marlo Hampton, 45, has officially received an “RHOA” peach. Former Jamaican-American track and field star Sanya Richards-Ross, 37, has joined the main cast this season as well.

From the looks of it, there will be multiple confrontations between the ladies this upcoming season! In December, theJasmineBRAND exclusively reported that co-stars Sanya Richards-Ross, 36, and actress Drew Sidora, 36, more than likely won’t be besties. According to our sources, the two ladies allegedly did not get along while filming and got into a very heated verbal altercation.

We also see feuds between Sheree and Drew, Kandi and Marlo, and long time frenemies, Kenya and Marlo appear to hit a rough patch in their newly rekindled.

It’s safe to say, we will be highly entertained this upcoming season! The Real Housewives of Atlanta premieres Sunday, May 1, at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Bravo!
