Update: Blac Chyna’s lawyer isn’t rolling over for the Kardashian’s request for her client to pay their litigation costs, reportedly totaling up to $400,000,
In a recent interview, the socialite’s lawyer, Lynne Ciani, said,
“Kris Jenner’s attempt to financially ruin Angela White, the mother of her granddaughter Dream Kardashian, will not work.”
She continued and explained that under California law, legal costs are only awarded to defendants “when they are without fault.”
She added,
“The same Los Angeles jury reached a verdict that defendants Kris Jenner, Kim Kardashian, Khloé Kardashian and Kylie Jenner did not act reasonably and in good faith to protect their own economic interests in the ‘Rob & Chyna’ show. Because Ms. White achieved these litigation objectives, defendants cannot be considered ‘prevailing parties’ under California law, and they cannot recover their exorbitant litigation costs of $391,000 from Ms. White.”

Original Story: The Kardashian’s wants Blac Chyna to cough up every dollar she owes.
Amid Blac Chyna’s split with Rob Kardashian, Blac Chyna sued the Kardashian’s in 2017 for allegedly interfering with the future of her reality show, “Rob & Chyna,” which documented their relationship. The show aired from September 2016 to December 2016. The show was renewed for a second season but put on hold until July 2017 due to Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna’s consistent break ups. Later that year, Blac Chyna, born Angela White, filed her lawsuit against the Kardashian’s.

In 2020, Blac Chyna’s lawyer, Lynne Ciani stated:
“Blac Chyna will seek millions in compensatory and punitive damages from Kris Jenner, Kim Kardashian, Khloé Kardashian, and Kylie Jenner for defamation, intentional interference with contract, and intentional interference with prospective economic advantage.”
In May, a verdict was handed down stating that the Kardashian’s won the case and Chyna was not awarded for claimed damages.
Last month, a judge ordered Blac Chyna, 34, to pay the Kardashians’ litigation costs which estimated up to $400,000 after she failed to convince the jury that the Kardashian family owed her $108 million.
