Tina Lawson Reveals Beyoncé Has Been Working On Upcoming Project For 2 Years: I Can’t Wait For The World To Hear It [VIDEO]
Beyoncé is dropping her seventh studio album soon, and according to her mother Tina Lawson, the project has been in the works!
As previously reported, singer/song-writer Beyoncé, 40, recently revealed via her social media bio that her upcoming project will be available on July 29. Titled “Renaissance,” the new project serves as Beyoncé’s first solo album in six years, following her Grammy Award-winning album “Lemonade” which was released in 2016.

During a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, businesswoman and mother Tina Lawson, 68, expressed her excitement for the album and teased that her daughter Beyoncé has been working on her new album for two years. Tina Lawson said,
“I’m very, very excited. I just posted recently that I really miss her singing, and I do. I’m as excited as everybody else. I can’t wait for you guys to hear it. She put two years of love into this. Many, many nights all night working. So, I can’t wait for the world to hear it.”
Earlier today (June 20), the “Crazy In Love” songstress updated her social media bio for a second time to reveal she will be releasing the first single off of “Renaissance” tonight.
The new single, titled “Break My Soul,” is set to drop at midnight E.T.
