Fat Joe Has A Series Based On His Life In The Works!
Rapper Fat Joe is gearing up to tell his life story!
According to reports, the Bronx rapper has a biopic series currently being developed by Showtime and BET, who jointly announced the project earlier today (June 24th). The announcement cited writers Kenya Barris and Jorge Reyes as co-executive producers. Fat Joe, real name, Joseph Antonio Cartagena will also executive produce the project.

Reportedly, the show currently titled The Book Of Jose, will follow Fat Joe’s life as he rose to fame. Being raised in a world of drugs and violence, the series will cover the “What’s Luv” artists upbringing, and all the things that made him the Grammy nominated entertainer he is today.
Intimate moments of the rap star’s life will reportedly also be featured in the series, including his past musical rivalries, drug addiction, and incarceration. Fat Joe famously beefed with fellow rapper 50 Cent back in the day, after 50 declared war with him due to a collab with his label mate Ja Rule. The musician discussed ending his beef with 50, the internet’s favorite celebrity troll, while visiting the Breakfast Club a couple of years ago.
However, it’s all but certain the “Candy Shop” rapper will appear in Fat Joe’s biopic story. At this time, there is no expected release date for the series.
