Justin Timberlake Jokingly Apologizes After Receiving Backlash For Viral Video Of His Dance Moves At Something In The Water Fest [VIDEO]
Justin Timberlake has become a trending topic for his dance skills following his recent performance.
Singer/song-writer Justin Timberlake made a guest appearance at Pharrell William’s Something In The Water music festival on June 18 in Washington, D.C.
During the concert, Justin Timberlake attempted to do the area’s known “Beat Ya Feet” dance while dressed in khakis onstage, resulting in the dance clip circulating online. Social media users have since reacted to the viral clip.

See reactions below:
On Wednesday (June 22), the 41-year-old R&B star addressed the viral clip in a video shared via his IG stories. Timberlake playfully apologized for his footwork while he performed his hit song “SexyBack.” He began with,
“D.C., I want to apologize to you for two reasons: here and here!”
Timberlake pointed the camera to show his two feet in multi-colored Nike sneakers and jokingly added,
“I had a long talk with both of them, individually, and said, ‘Um don’t you ever do that to me again.’”
The “SexyBack” singer addressed the outfit he wore onstage to perform, which seemingly did not help compliment his dance moves. Keeping a positive outlook on the situation, he continued,
“Maybe it was the khakis. It was a real khaki vibe. I’ll make this up to you. I’m going to focus on these two guys right here and get them right. Love y’all.”
So Justin Timberlake can hop on his Instagram story to deliver a smart ass apology for his lame dancing but when apologizing to Britney & Janet he could only have his publicist draft a generic written note? As previously reported, the Grammy-winner sold his entire song catalog last month to Hipgnosis Song Management, a London-based firm. The music collection from the past two decades is estimated to be worth over $100 million.
