Nicki is “all monster-ed out” after refusing to perform Kanye West’s “Monster.”
A clip of Nicki Minaj dissing Kanye West is now going viral. One of Nicki Minaj’s most known rap verses is probably her feature on Kanye West’s song “Monster.” The track features Jay-Z, Rick Ross, Nicki Minaj, and Bon Iver.
During her headlining set at the Essence Festival Friday night (July 2), some fans were shocked when Nicki skipped over performing the popular song. In the video, Nicki is seen taking a moment after having the DJ cut off the song while telling the audience “hold up.”
She adds,
“Wait hold up, hold up, hold on, hold up – I’m monster-ed out, I’m monster-ed out, and we don’t f*ck with clowns.”
Nicki did not elaborate on what her issue was with the “College Dropout” rapper, but fans have been speculating since the clip went viral.
