Wendy Williams Starts A New Instagram Page For Her Upcoming Podcast + Says ‘When one door closes a LARGER one Opens!’

 

It looks like Wendy Williams is officially moving on to new business endeavors!

Just two days after ‘The Wendy Williams Show’ Youtube channel and online presence had been removed, the famous talk show host surprised fans with a brand new Instagram account promoting her upcoming podcast. The new page which is named, ‘The Wendy Experience Podcast’ was just created late Wednesday night (July 16) and already has two new posts.

In the first post for the page Wendy Williams, 57, shared a video of her on her laptop in which we hear someone say
“Wendy Doing A Show, Not a TV Show Sorry it is a WENDY EXPERIENCE! STAY TUNED!”

Then on Thursday (July 7) Wendy shared a picture of herself and seemingly teased fans with an upcoming project. She captioned the post:
“When one door closes a LARGER one Opens! Last Day on SET! #stay#tuned#thewendyexperience#loading#nyc”

As previously reported, ‘The Wendy Williams Show‘ came to an end on Friday (June 17) after 13 years on air. Actress Sherri Shepherd, 55, had the pleasure of being one of the celebrity guests who filled in for Wendy during the final season of her talk show. Wendy Williams was absent during the final 13th season due to reported ongoing health issues. Sherri Shepherd is set to replace the series with her own talk show that will air this fall.
On Tuesday (July 5) the official YouTube channel for ‘The Wendy Williams Show’ was removed along with the talk show’s official website, WendyShow.com, and Wendy Williams Productions, WendyWilliamsProductions.com, which is being auctioned off on GoDaddy.

Since the ending of the talk show, Wendy Williams has been teasing the public with talks of starting her own podcast. Wendy’s manager, Will Selby has recently stated that the media mogul will launch her own podcast in which he will be the executive producer. According to Selby, Wendy reached out to rappers Snoop Dogg and Fat Joe asking them to be guests on her podcast. Selby admitted Wendy had conversations with the Kardashian family and a member of Donald Trump’s family about appearing on her podcast.

It’s still unclear if Wendy Williams will partner with a single platform, like Apple or Spotify, or release it independently. But from the looks of her new Instagram page, we may be getting the podcast sooner than later!
