Omarion Set To Release Upcoming Docuseries Revealing ‘The Truth’ About The Cause Of B2K’s Break Up: Let Me Take You Back To 2019 Millennium Tour

Omarion’s ready to share his perspective on the break-up of former boy band B2K.

Omarion, 37, is finally giving the tea about his former group’s breakup by releasing a five-part docuseries. On Monday (July 11), Omarion appeared in an interview sharing how he handles the criticism from his past groupmates. The singer said the key is to stay “unbothered.”

He recently released the trailer to his upcoming docuseries “OMEGA: The Gift & The Curse” on Instagram, which is set to air on July 21. The series will seemingly reveal what caused B2K’s breakup. It appears to also touch on fellow B2K member Lil Fizz dating Apyrl Jones, Omarion’s ex-girlfriend and mother of his two children. In the introduction of the trailer, Omarion says:

“A lie spreads faster than the truth. Everybody got something to say, but now it’s my turn. Let me take you back to 2019 Millennium tour. You think you know but you have no idea”

In a lengthy caption for his trailer Omarion said:

“Hey world. For too long I’ve felt misunderstood & manipulated by the games people play especially when accountability from others has been obsolete. I own my parts in the story -but do you? Respect is what I give to everyone & it’s what I deserve in return. Being unbothered doesn’t mean that you ignore your emotions or how you feel. Being unbothered means that vou don’t give someone else vour power & YOU decide how to respond instead of reacting. Reacting to everything is a disadvantage because it’s thoughtLESS and doesn’t serve you. Standing up for yourself during challenging times is essential to staying centered and maintaining your peace. O ME G A (which stands for the last) adding “the gift and the curse serves as insight into this incredible journey of Ups and downs. Stav tapped in & witness how deep it goes. Premiering 7/21 *link in bio*”

The singer has made headlines since his recent Verzuz battle with Mario on June 23 in Los Angeles. As previously reported, other B2K members said Omarion “got served,” in the face-off.

Omarion took to Instagram after the competition to thank Mario and fired back at his former group members by calling them his  “backup dancers.” He said:

“I love all the jokes and opinions. Y’all are hilarious , I’m enjoying the creativity . If you’re lucky enough to be in this business for 22 years you understand that at some point you will experience malfunctions. It comes with being an artist and making yourself vulnerable to the world. But to my 3 background dancers, I’m not surprised because this is how y’all always been, even while in the group. Praying for my downfall. Well, keep praying cause I’m overbooked and busy. Meanwhile, y’all really gotta get a job other than hatin on O. I heard UPS is hiring .”
