Khloe Kardashian Is ‘Incredibly Disappointed’ In Tristan Thompson, But ‘They Will Always Be a Family’

It looks like Khloe Kardashian still considers Tristan Thompson as family, despite previous cheating scandals!

While social media is still in a frenzy after it was announced the 38-year-old reality star and 31-year-old Chicago Bulls player are expecting their second baby together via surrogate, sources close to the matter claim this is a “bittersweet situation” for Khloe Kardashian.

As previously reported, Tristan Thompson infamously admitted to stepping out on Khloe Kardashian and fathering a child with influencer/fitness trainer Maralee Nichols. The reveal came in January of this year after Khloe and Tristan jointly denied Maralee’s claims that the athlete was her child’s father. That was until a paternity test confirmed the results, causing Khloe and Tristan to split once again.

The Good American co-founder reportedly found out late last year that she was expecting her second child via surrogate, however Khloe Kardashian’s excitement quickly came to a halt by the news that Tristan Thompson had also fathered a child with another woman.

Now, a source close to the matter says this has become a “bittersweet situation” for The Kardashians star. They explain:

“When Khloé found out in December that the surrogate was pregnant, she was elated. Shortly after though, Tristan’s new cheating was exposed. It was a bittersweet situation for Khloé…She was so excited about the baby, but incredibly disappointed in Tristan. Like Khloé always does though, she turned it around and focused on the good.”

They continued,

“Khloe and Tristan are not together, but they will always be a family. However, they were together when their surrogate got pregnant.”

Last month, Khloe Kardashian reflected on the paternity scandal and having to relive all over again during the finale episode of her Hulu series, The Kardashians. She admitted,

“It’s not easy, but it’s also, I think, a form of therapy for me at the same time, and I like to see how the rest of my family responds to things.”

She continued,

“Those little things mean a lot to me, and I like to see that stuff, just how the whole family — not about this situation, but any situation — how we all rally around one another in times that are hard for us.”
