Kelly Rowland Reacts To Viral Clip Of 2 Black Children Seemingly Being Ignored By A Character At Sesame Place
Kelly Rowland took to social media to share how frustrated a recent viral clip made her!
Kelly Rowland posted to her Instagram Story, reacting to a video shared by a mom of her two daughters at Sesame Place.
In the video the girls can be seen awaiting a Sesame character who’s seen in the background hugging and high-fiving other children and adults. The character then approaches the two young girls, and then seemingly waves them off, denying them a high five or a hug.
Rowland reacted by saying:
“Okay, so, had that been me, that would parade would’ve been in flames. Are you serious? You not gonna speak to my child?”
“And did you see that baby’s face at the end, the little one with the pink on? She deserves an explanation. Hello?”
The mother of the two children, posted the video with a lengthy caption explaining what happened in her words.
“I’m going to keep posting this, because this had me hot. We were on our way out of sesame place and the kids wanted to stop to see the characters. THIS DISGUSTING person blatantly told our kids NO then proceeded to hug the little white girl next to us!”
“Then when I went to complain about it, they looking at me like I’m crazy. I asked the lady who the character was and I wanted to see a supervisor and she told me SHE DIDNT KNOW !! I will never step foot in @sesameplace ever again!”
She also shared a screenshot of a message from a Sesame Place manager who is looking to speak with her about the matter.
