Brandy Is Honored Brother Ray J Got A Tattoo Of Her Face, But She Admits ‘I Didn’t Understand It At First’

Siblings tend to share a special connection, but that doesn’t mean they always understand each other—even when you’re Brandy and Ray J.

Award-winning singer Brandy recently admitted that she, at first, didn’t understand the Alexey Mashkov-designed tattoo that her younger brother Ray J now has plastered on his leg. During a recent interview, she said

“It’s like a Basquiat-type of style. I didn’t understand it at first … but then he explained it to me and showed me the tattoo artist’s whole page and it was amazing.”

She added,

“It could’ve been a different tattoo. I’m just glad he got a tattoo of me.”

As previously reported, Ray J tattooed his sister Brandy’s face on his leg. The words “best friends” are written on her forehead, “4 ever” is on her cheeks, and “from Ray J with love” is spelled out in Black ink on her lower face.

The “One Wish” singer said in an Instagram post that he plans to get his

While she may not have understood it at the time, Brandy seemed to appreciate the kind gesture from her brother. The “Moesha” actress initially commented on Ray J‘s video and said,

“Brooooooo [4 black heart emojis]”

In fact, Brandy seemingly has no problem returning the gesture and getting a tattoo in honor of her little brother, In a separate interview, when asked if she’d be open to getting a tattoo to honor Ray J, she said,
