Jennifer Lopez & Ben Affleck’s Minister Says Their Love Was ‘Real & Evident’ During Ceremony
Love is definitely in the air for Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck!
The newly rekindled couple officially tied the knot in Las Vegas last Saturday (July 16). As previously reported, Jennifer Lopez, 52, showed off her stunning green engagement ring back in April of this year, while simultaneously announcing her second engagement to her then-boyfriend Ben Affleck, 49.
Now, their minister for the ceremony, Ryan Wolfe is speaking out and revealing that Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck’s love was “real and evident.” He told sources:
“Absolutely, you can see the love they had for each other. They definitely truly care and love each other. I’ve done probably 10,000 weddings now, and by this point in my life I get a feel of couples — I can really tell it was real.”
The minister continued,
“It was emotional; it was an emotional moment they shared with one another. It was real and evident for sure. After seeing them and the love they have for each other, I 100 percent believe they will last. They will make it. I believe they found their soulmates. I really do believe they’re meant for each other.”
“Mrs. Jennifer Lynn Affleck.”
The singer and actress shared,
“We did it. Love is beautiful. Love is kind. And it turns out love is patient. Twenty years patient. Exactly what we wanted. Last night we flew to Vegas, stood in line for a license with four other couples, all making the same journey to the wedding capital of the world.”
Her message continued,
“When love is real, the only thing that matters in marriage is one another and the promise we make to love, care, understand, be patient, loving and good to one another. We had that. And so much more. Best night of our lives.”
“Stick around long enough and maybe you’ll find the best moment of your life in a drive through in Las Vegas at 12:30 in the morning in the tunnel of love drive through, with your kids and the one you’ll spend forever with. Love is a great thing, maybe the best of things — and worth waiting for.”
If you recall, Lopez and Affleck famously called off their 2002 wedding after a media circus allegedly caused the two to postpone their wedding date, eventually leading to a full on break up.
Chapel coordinator Kenosha Booth told sources that the intimate wedding was “beautiful” and,
“some tears were shed by them both.”
As for the reason they chose to elope instead of having a lavish wedding, an insider told sources,
“Jen and Ben are so gaga in love that they wanted to get married. They are busy and wanted to make it easy and intimate in a fun setting to symbolize their happiness after so long.”
