Megan Thee Stallion Shows Off Her Acting Skills As She Brings Her Alter Ego ‘Tina Snow’ To ‘P-Valley’

Well, it seems to have gotten a little chilly in Chucalissa, Mississippi recently!

Rapstress Megan Thee Stallion recently made a special appearance on Starz’s hit series, P-Valley, and viewers of the show are still in awe at her stellar performance.

Taking on the role of her musical alter ego, Tina Snow, which serves as a nod to her debut EP of the same name, Megan Thee Stallion joins Uncle Clifford (Nicco Annan) and her girls at The Pynk for an exclusive strip-club concert with the city’s most prized lyricist, Lil’ Murda (J. Alphonse Nicholson).

After a few teases of Tina Snow’s presence in the series, during earlier episodes this season, the dynamic duo finally set the stage on fire with their collaboration, “Get It on the Floor,” which Megan Thee Stallion wrote and recorded alongside Nicholson.

Ahead of the episode’s premiere, P-Valley creator Katori Hall shared her excitement about having the opportunity to work with the 27-year-old megastar. According to Hall, the connection came about subsequent to Annan and Brandee Evans’, who portrays the character Mercedes in the series, cameo in Megan’s video for her song “Movie.”

“We have been wanting her to be on the show, whether it was as a rapper, as an actress, from season 1. Eventually we got a chance to connect via Zoom and the rest is history. [We were] on the same page in terms of how we wanted to just visually articulate a version of her alter ego, Tina Snow, through P-Valley.”

Nicholson then added to that by letting us in on his experience with the “Pressurelicious” artist, highlighting the magic that the pair made on The Pynk’s infamous stomping grounds.

“I love the fact that I get to share the screen with her and have these awesome scenes. By the time we get to the episode, [Murda and Snow] are stars. They come in as true stars of Chucalissa, as true stars of The Pynk and they put on an incredible performance.”

Without a doubt, Tina Snow and Lil’ Murda definitely had the crowd going crazy–even the ones in front of their TV screens, watching from their living room sofas.

So much so that Megan Thee Stallion wouldn’t mind returning as Tina Snow after her and Lil’ Murda’s tour is over.

Following Stallion’s P-Valley pop-out, social media went to complete shambles, opting for the show’s crew to make her a full-time cast member.
