Megan Thee Stallion, 27, shared via Twitter the reason why she allegedly decided to move forward and release her brand new album this week. The Houston native said that after parts of a new song leaked, as well as her tracklist and cover art, she might as well deliver her anticipated project sooner than later. She said,
“From my cover art, pieces of my track list and me even hearing a part of a song I haven’t dropped yet leaking (and we ALL know who the only ppl who had access to all these PRIVATE links are..) I might as well…lol.”

Shortly after Megan shared that her new album has been getting leaked, she delivered the “TRAUMAZINE” cover art, along with some of the heavy-hitters who will be included on the album. Fans can expect features from Key Glock, Latto, Pooh Shiesty, Rico Nasty, Future, Jhené Aiko, and more.

The rap artist recently wiped her official Instagram page to only have content relating to her second album “TRAUMAZINE.”

Megan reportedly said the 18-track album will be her last while signed to her record label 1501 Entertainment, whom she’s openly had issues with. As previously reported, the musician updated fans via Twitter last night (August 10) and vocalized her issues with dropping her album through the Houston label. She wrote,
“Y’all know I always have problems with dropping my music under this label, all these games and having to go to court just to put out my art has been so stressful.”
Megan added,
“Thank you hotties for rocking with me through the b*llsh*t WE ALMOST OUT. LETS STAY FOCUSED AND RUN THIS LAST ONE UP”

The Houston hottie’s “TRAUMAZINE” will be a follow-up to her debut album “Good News,” which dropped on November 20, 2020, and debuted at number two on the Billboard 200. The album won an American Music Award for Favorite Hip-Hop Album.
“Good News” includes the remix of the single “Savage” featuring songstress Beyoncé, which earned Megan her first number one on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100. The project was awarded platinum status by the Recording Industry Association of America after it surpassed one million sales in the U.S.
In 2021, Megan won Grammys for Best Rap Performance and Best Rap Song for “Savage (Remix).” In addition, she won Best New Artist. Megan was also awarded Best Female Hip-Hop Artist at the BET Awards in 2020.
