Floyd Mayweather ‘Distraught’ Over Loss Of Girlfriend’s Relative Who Died By Suicide
Floyd Mayweather is reportedly distraught over a recent loss.
Jarrett Johnson, 24, was reportedly found dead inside a Las Vegas home owned by Floyd Mayweather on Thursday, August 25. He is said to have committed suicide by hanging himself.
While Jarrett Johnson is directly related to Floyd Mayweather‘s girlfriend, Jamie Lynn, the boxing legend reportedly shared a personal relationship with the young man. In November, Jarrett Johnson shared a photo of the two spending time together in the VIP section of a Miami Dolphins football game.
Johnson captioned the photo:
“Dolphins game w unc and pops”

Johnson was a standout football player who earned All-Conference and Southeast Missouri All-Region honors as a quarterback in high school. He also played a variety of positions at Lindenwood University in St. Charles, Missouri.
In a statement released via Twitter, the Lindenwood football team said,
“Our thoughts and prayers are with the family of former Lion Jarrett Johnson in this difficult time. Once a Lion, Always a Lion.”

Jamie Lynn and Mayweather have been linked since at least 2015. In 2020, she posted a photo alongside her man in Hong Kong. Her caption read,
“The only man I love.”

Mayweather is also seemingly still mourning the loss of his ex-girlfriend Josie Harris, who was discovered dead inside her vehicle, which was parked in her driveway in 2020. It was later revealed that Josie Harris died of an accidental drug overdose.
Josie Harris and Mayweather‘s relationship started in 1995 and came to an end in 2010 when the boxer was arrested for domestic violence against her. The couple shared three children: Jirah Mayweather, Koraun Mayweather, and Zion Shamaree Mayweather.

While the two were ultimately able to efficiently co-parent, they were reportedly headed to trial in a $20 million lawsuit at the time of her death. Harris had accused the boxer of making false accusations about her during an interview. Despite the lawsuit, Mayweather has praised his ex on social media several times since her death. In fact, he praised Harris as an “ALL NATURAL” woman in a post he shared in January 2020, though it was not well received by fans.
Mayweather said,
“These females will never be you Josie. No veneers, No lip injections, no nose job and No fillers. ALL NATURAL 1 of 1….
Love You Forever!!”
Mayweather has yet to release a statement following the tragic loss of Johnson.
