Khloe Kardashian Opens Up About Parenting Her Baby Boy After Splitting From Ex Tristan Thompson: It’s Super Scary, But I Take My Job Very Seriously

Reality Star Khloe Kardashian is speaking out for the first time since welcoming her new baby.

Earlier this month, the 38-year-old entrepreneur and her NBA ex Tristan Thompson circulated headlines, revealing the birth of their unnamed son via surrogate. The two reportedly made the decision to expand their family prior to Thompson, 31, cheating on his on-again off-again partner for the umpteenth time, and fathering another child with Instagram model Maralee Nichols. During a recent interview, the Good American founder expressed the nerves and excitement about starting her parenting journey over again.

Speaking about her 4-year-old daughter True, who she also shares with Thompson, and their new baby, Kardashian stated:

“Being able to shape little people into really incredible big people is an honor and a gift,”

She continued:

“I know it’s cliché, but I love everything, even the hard parts [of parenting],” she said. “It’s super scary, but I take my job very seriously.”

According to reports, the surrogacy process began in November of 2021 while Thompson and Kardashian were still an item. During the pairs 5 year relationship, the couple remained constantly in the limelight due to Thompson’s serial cheating scandals. His most recent – the surprise birth of baby Theo who he has reportedly not seen since birth – caused a permanent split between the two.

After revealing the news of their coming child back in July, media outlets reported that Kardashian intended to raise the baby alone. Earlier this month, court documents reportedly revealed that The Kardashians star was given full custody of the new baby boy. An inside source reportedly stated:

“Khloé and Tristan already had the baby in the works when the scandal hit. By then, Khloé was just like, ‘I’m going to be doing it by myself.’”

Thompson has been quiet since the baby’s arrival, and has not made any public comments at this time.
