R.Kelly – Two More Women Testify to Having Threesomes With Singer While They Were 14, Says He Filmed Their Encounters

Court is back in session for R.Kelly (real name Robert Sylvester Kelly), and two more women have taken the stand to recall the alleged sexual relationship they had with the fallen R&B singer while they were underage.

The first witness on Monday, August 29, was a 37-year-old woman going by the name “Pauline.” She claimed to be best friends with “Jane,” R.Kelly‘s 14-year-old goddaughter who has also testified about a sexual relationship she had with him.

Pauline testified that when she was around 14, she found Jane kneeling in front of R.Kelly, naked. The three of them eventually started engaging in sexual activity on a regular basis. Pauline also claimed that R.Kelly frequently supplied alcohol and their interactions happened “dozens or maybe hundreds of times.” The 37-year-old also testified to having threesomes with R.Kelly and “Brittany,” adding that he would videotape the encounters.

According to Pauline,

“He told me he was just looking for bruises on her, because she hurt herself. I told him that ‘that’s not how you look for bruises’ and he said that’s how he looked for bruises … then he stated that ‘we all have secrets.’”

She testified that she remained in a relationship with R.Kelly for years as an adult and when she was 20, she called his studio when and asked for money while posing as Brittany. Pauline said,

“Well, he called it extortion, I called it ‘don’t play with me.’ … Girls get mad and say stupid stuff and want to slap you or bust your car windows out. It was just a threat. He knew that. If he didn’t know that he wouldn’t have had me around all these years.”

Regardless, Pauline still has feelings for R.Kelly. She said,

“I loved him and I still love him,” she testified. … In a weird way, I know you might judge me, but it’s like best friend meets boyfriend meets dad.”

But according to R.Kelly’s attorney Jennifer Bonjean, the singer’s sexual relationship with Pauline actually started when she was legally an adult. The attorney also noted that Pauline has given varied estimates of the number of sex encounters she had with R.Kelly and Jane.

During cross-examination, Jennifer Bonjean said,

“In your effort to extort Mr. Kelly of $35,000 you didn’t lead with your best stuff, did you? … It seems if you really want to get someone’s attention you might mention ‘oh, we had an illicit relationship as a minor.’”

Another woman who only used her first name, “Tracy,” testified that met R.Kelly in 1999, when she was a 16-year-old intern at a record label. She said she was invited to R.Kelly‘s studio after receiving his number at an expo. The singer claimed he liked her and was “OK” with her age. Tracy claimed that after sharing a kiss during their first encounter, she declined to give him oral sex, so R.Kelly masturbated and ejaculated on her.

According to Tracy,

“I tried to pull back, but he had a hold on my shirt and he was pleasuring himself,” she testifies. [He saw I was upset and] he said he was really sorry and he didn’t mean to upset me … he promised that that wasn’t his usual behavior.”

About a week later, R.Kelly reportedly sexually assaulted her in a hotel room. Tracy said,

“I told him I didn’t want to have sex, but he had forced himself in me. … When I asked him (to stop) he did stop.”

During another encounter, according to Tracy,

“He told me this time we were going to have sex and it would probably hurt, but I would have to let him finish.”

Tracy testified to another encounter — this time one that involved Jane. She sad,

“He told me, ‘Remember you said you wanted to please me?’ He told me to get naked and take off my clothes. … I was really confused and, just really angry because I didn’t really think there was anybody else but me and Rob. They just seemed to be really familiar with each other and they knew what was about to happen and I was the only one who didn’t.”

R.Kelly, 55, is accused of filming the sex abuse of five women and is charged with 13 counts of producing child pornography, conspiring to make child pornography and conspiring to obstruct justice. He was sentenced to 30 years in prison in July after being found guilty of sex trafficking and racketeering in September 2021.

Derrel McDavid and Milton “June” Brown are also on trial for allegedly plotting to conceal years of sexual abuse against young girls by buying back incriminating sex videos stolen from R.Kelly‘s collection.
