Teyana Taylor was surprised by an icon backstage at a recent London show.

Musical artist Teyana Taylor is currently on her farewell “The Last Rose Petal 2” tour. As the show pulled into London for her next stop, Teyana Taylor was surprised by singer/song-writer Janet Jackson, 56. The 31-year-old R&B artist has since shared some words of gratitude for Janet Jackson.

On Monday night (September 5), Teyana took to Instagram to reflect on the “love” and “energy” she felt during a sold-out London stop on her farewell tour.

After thanking fans for giving her a “magical” night she’ll never forget, the professional dancer/choreographer turned her attention to Janet Jackson. She noted that the singer’s “beautiful surprise” increased the amount of respect she has for her fellow artist and inspiration. Teyana, who also shared a series of photos alongside Janet, wrote,

As previously reported, Teyana first announced her retirement from music in 2020. She announced her final tour “The Last Rose Petal” in September 2021, marking it her last tour before she retires from the music industry.
