Ashanti Breaks Silence About What Transpired In Her Relationship w/ Irv Gotti: He Would Say ‘I Made You F*ckable’

Ashanti is ready to speak about her former relationship with Irv Gotti, and she isn’t holding anything back!

In a recent interview with Angie Martinez, Ashanti responded to the multiple claims Irv Gotti made regarding their relationship in the Murder Inc. documentary and his infamous “Drink Champs” interview where he made shocking allegations about what occurred between him and the singer 20 years ago.

According to Ashanti, born Ashanti Shequoiya Douglas, their relationship wasn’t what Irv Gotti made it out to be. She shared: 

“You know when someone is consistently saying to you ‘You ain’t sh*t. F*ck you. You not even f*ck*ng loyal,’ you know? ‘I made you. I made the world wanna f*ck you.’ You know what I’m saying?”

The 42-year-old elaborated:

“He would say, you know…‘N*gg*s wanna f*ck you because I made you look like that, I made you f*ck*ble.’ In those exact words.”

As previously reported, Irv Gotti took headlines by storm back in August after he made an appearance on the N.O.R.E’s podcast to promote the Murder Inc. documentary. During the conversation, he shared his point of view of what transpired while he was in a relationship with the “Rain On Me” artist. The Murder Inc. founder went into extensive detail about everything from making records with Ashanti, to allegedly sleeping with the “Foolish” singer. He even touched on the moment she seemingly moved on to rapper Nelly. Irv, born Irving Domingo Lorenzo Jr., stated:

“I can get past you wanting to be with Nelly” 

The 52-year-old continued:

“At the time it happens, any man….is hurt. The chick you, f*cking are in love with, is with this n*gga. You wanna know how I found out?”

He added:

“Listen to this, it was God wanted me to find out….I was at home. NBA package, I like watching sports. ‘Oh my God what’s this commotion going on in stadium?! We just found out what the commotion is. Nelly has walked in with Ashanti.’”
