Ashanti Seemingly Responds To Irv Gotti’s Claims That They Once Had A Sexual Relationship On Diddy’s ‘Gotta Move On’ Remix: It’s Giving Obsessed

Ashanti appeared on Diddy’s “Gotta Move On” remix, seemingly calling out a man from her past.

As previously reported, back in June Diddy released his first single in six years entitled “Gotta Move On.” The track followed his breakup with Cassie after they dated on and off for 11 years. Ashanti appeared on the “Gotta Move On” remix and it has been speculated that Irv Gotti has been called out in her verse. The 41-year-old sang:

“It’s giving obsessed/It’s giving you stressed/It’s giving you pressed/It’s giving this n*gga missing the best/But it’s been 20 years please cry less, we can see you and your tears.”

As you may already know, Murder Inc. CEO, Irv Gotti appeared on an episode of “Drink Champs” where he spoke on his alleged romance with Ashanti that occurred 20 years ago. During the interview, Irv Gotti explained his view of the bond he had with Ashanti. The 52-year-old shared:

“I’m separated from [my wife] Deb. I’m on my own. And Ashanti’s coming to the studio every day and our friendship and bond is naturally growing. She used to wear these Juicy sweats and her a** was looking fat. Her a** was looking great.”

The New York native continued:

“So, one day I was like, ‘Yo, I’ll take you home.’ She said, ‘Bet, cool.’ We are walking to her front door of her crib. She turns and says goodbye and I just kiss her and grab her a** and just mwah. It was like, what took you so long?”
