Rapper Bankroll Freddie Arrested On Gun & Drug Charges As Part Of Major Federal Trafficking Bust
Bankroll Freddie landed himself in unfortunate legal issues while in his hometown.
On Wednesday morning (Nov. 9) Freddie Gladney III, better known as Bankroll Freddie, was arrested in Jonesboro, Arkansas due to a federal drug and gun collection conducted across the state. Court documents state that Bankroll Freddie and his father were considered suspects in the roundup by U.S. Marshalls, which netted 45 wanted people.
The rapper and his father allegedly conspired with dozens of others to partake in drug and gun trafficking between the states of Arkansas, Texas, Arizona, Georgia, Mississippi, Tennessee, and Oklahoma. The father-son-duo faces a combination of 16 federal charges.
Shortly after 1 p.m. today (Nov. 10). a representative of the Quality Control Music artist took to Instagram to announce the bad news about Freddie. The caption read:
“#FreeBank”

The Department of Justice stated in a press release that the arrests were made because of three different operations directed by different agencies. Two FBI operations studied two rival gangs in Arkansas, including the “Every Body Killas gang” (EBK) and the “Loady Murder Mobb gang.” The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) conducted the third operation back in 2021, discovering methamphetamine and fentanyl dealers in Central Arkansas with connections to other states.

Back in 2020, Pine Bluff Police Detective Kevin Collins was fatally shot while serving a warrant on an EBK member. The DOJ claimed Kevin Collins was helping other federal agents with an investigation into the gangs during the time of his death. The information obtained from Collins’ investigation granted federal agents the clearance to get 12 wiretaps through June of 2022. This allowed law enforcement to prevent planned crimes which led to the arrests of the rapper, his father, and others.
