Tory Lanez Agrees To Pay ‘Love & Hip Hop’ Star Prince In Settlement Over Alleged Nightclub Attacks

Looks like Tory Lanez has one less legal problem to worry about.

According to court documents obtained by RadarOnline, Tory Lanez has reached a financial settlement with “Love & Hip Hop: Miami” star Prince. As previously reported, reality TV star Prince, born Christopher Harty, claimed that Tory Lanez, born Daystar Peterson, and his entourage physically assaulted him while inside LIV Nightclub. Allegedly, the 2019 attack occurred due to a misunderstanding involving a record.

The drama between the two men didn’t stop there. In 2021, at South Beach’s club Vendome, Tory allegedly attacked Prince again and punched him in the face before running outside to a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Van and fleeing the scene.

Reportedly, Tory Lanez and his new lawyer, Kadisha Phelps, decided to settle in order to clear his schedule up for his highly anticipated trial for allegedly shooting Megan Thee Stallion. As you may recall, Tory’s initial lawyer for the case dropped the entertainer as a client in August over ‘irreconcilable differences.”

While speaking on the settlement, Phelps shared that she has,

“information to believe that a settlement has already been reached between the parties and [Lanez] has tendered funds to [Prince] in consummation of their agreement.”

She added that the December 5 trial is no longer needed. Phelps has asked that the trial date be pushed by 4 months to afford her time to review the paperwork and then she’ll provide the court with an update.

Tory was taken off house arrest yesterday (Dec. 5) “as his trial for allegedly shooting Megan Thee Stallion begins with jury selection in L.A.”

The “Broke In A Minute” artist received an ankle monitor for allegedly attacking August Alsina in October. August Alsina claimed that Tory punched him because he didn’t shake the Canadian native’s hand.
