Lizzo To Appear As Musical Guest For ‘Saturday Night Live’ For The Second Time This Year
Pop superstar Lizzo is set to appear on “Saturday Night Live” as the final guest of the year!
According to reports, singer/rapper Lizzo will be the musical guest for “Saturday Night Live” next week on Saturday, December 17. The originally scheduled musical act, rock band Yeah Yeah Yeahs, had to cancel their appearance on the show due to guitarist Nick Zinner’s battle with pneumonia.

Reportedly, Lizzo, born Melissa Jefferson, will become the second musical guest on “SNL” to take on a second appearance this year. In April, the 34-year-old entertainer hosted as well as performed during the music slots.

In addition to securing her slot on “SNL,” Lizzo is fresh off making history by becoming the No. 1 music artist on TikTok for amassing the most video views.

As previously reported, Lizzo was crowned the Queen of TikTok after her 2022 hit “About Damn Time” became the app’s No. 4 top-trending song. Lizzo’s TikTok video, in which she demonstrates the dance for the hit song, came in at seventh place on the trending-videos ranking.
