Calling all 80s and 90s R&B fans!
It looks like some of our favorite boy bands are reuniting.
According to reports, R&B group Guy will be joining New Edition for an epic tour called the Legacy Tour ’23. This will be a reunion for Guy and New Edition as the two groups last toured together back in 2016.
As if those 2 acts weren’t enough, sources say Tank and Keith Sweat will also be joining the lineup, attracting an era of R&B that many fans still hold close to their hearts.

While speaking with paparazzi, Bobby Brown happily spilled the beans that his group New Edition was heading on tour. Over the years, the six members, which include Bobby, Michael Bivins, Ricky Bell, Ronnie DeVoe, Johnny Gill, and Ralph Tresvant, have done solo projects and even formed smaller subgroups.
However, Bobby revealed that New Edition members still have remained close throughout the years, explaining, ‘
“That’s the power of the group.”
He said,
“We have a brotherhood that is probably unstoppable. We take pride in what we do.”
Formed in 1978, New Edition – which was reportedly inspired by The Jackson 5 –reached its height of fame in the 1980s. Early hits included “Candy Girl,” “Cool It Now,” and “Mr. Telephone Man.” In 1985, Bobby Brown left the group to pursue his own solo career, and Johnny Gill was recruited to take his place. Throughout the years, the group has reunited, done solo projects, and gone on tour together. The members have garnered two American Music Awards, two Soul Train Awards, along with a Soul Train Lifetime Achievement Award.
