Cardi B Slams Twitter Account Claiming To Have Leaked Her Music + Shares A Snippet Of Unreleased Song To Give Fans A Taste Of What’s To Come

Cardi B is not too happy with a Twitter user who is claiming to have leaked some of her music!

On Monday (Dec. 12) a Twitter user by the name of Medusa Minaj took to social media and shared various reference tracks that they claimed belonged to Cardi B.

It didn’t take long before the “Up” rapper caught wind of this tweet and had a message of her own. Seemingly denying that the reference tracks were hers, she first tweeted,

“Lmmmaaaoooooooooo …These are horrible too I would never lol,”

She later shared another message admitting she was shocked that fans believed it was actually her music, noting that a lot of the verbiage used in the reference tracks was outdated and nothing she would say present day. Cardi B wrote:

“I just feel like these are things that people think that I want or would say …Like party wit Cardi ? That’s so late for me to say is like me saying okruuuuuuu again …..And Jenny from them block sample it’s like cliche & expected…..Nice try tho.”

Shortly after, Cardi B shared a snippet of an unreleased track that is actually hers, seemingly giving fans a tease of her new music. She captioned the post,

“HERE some scraps since yall STARVING”

The ‘Hot Sh*t’ rapper recently shared with fans the real reason why her sophomore album has been delayed.

Last week, Cardi B took to Instagram Live to talk to her followers about her highly anticipated sophomore album and why it’s taking so long to be released. She said,

“When it comes to the music, I just be feeling like I don’t be liking anything. I feel like I got so many songs, I just don’t like nothing. Like nothing is good enough. I got so much f**king money saved up, I be like, ‘Yeah, whatever the f*ck.’”

She then expressed that her recent $1 million show in Miami reminded her that she loves to perform. However, the constant criticism from fans causes her to be anxious about her music.

“Every time I perform, something wakes up in me and I remember why I do this. Because I love this. I love to perform.”

She continued,

“I used to love to make music. But now, making music to me has become a job that gives me anxiety. Everybody just critique everything that I do that it’s just like sometimes you just don’t want to do something that makes you feel–that gives you that much anxiety. I just be freezing myself.”
