Jack Harlow — Social Media Reacts To First Trailer For Rapper’s ‘White Men Can’t Jump’ Reboot: How Dare You Sh*t On The Classic
Social media is reacting to Jack Harlow’s acting debut in the new trailer for the rebooted “White Men Can’t Jump.”
On Sunday (February 5), the trailer dropped for the 20th Century Studios film, which is reportedly set to land on Hulu on May 19. The 30-second teaser shows the very first look of the Kentucky rapper as he shows off a few of his basketball skills alongside his co-star Sinqua Walls.
The “White Men Can’t Jump” reboot appears to follow the same storyline as the original 1992 film about a pair of basketball hustlers who team up to make themselves some extra cash.
The name of Jack Harlow’s character has yet to be revealed, according to reports. However, it looks like the “First Class” hitmaker takes on a similar role to Billy Hoyle in the original, who was played by Woody Harrelson. Sinqua Walls reportedly stars as a new character named Kamal Allen, who is likely a revamped version of Sidney Dean, the loud-mouthed guard played by Wesley Snipes in the first film.
Following the trailer’s release for the upcoming project, reactions to the film began pouring in online via Twitter with many social media users not pleased with the remake.
