‘RHOP’ Star Robyn Dixon Responds To Backlash For Not Addressing Husband’s Alleged Cheating Scandal On Reality Series, Claims She Wasn’t ‘Withholding Information’: It Wasn’t Relevant To Where We Were In That Present Time
‘RHOP’ Star Robyn Dixon Responds To Backlash For Not Addressing Husband’s Alleged Cheating Scandal On Reality Series, Claims She Wasn’t ‘Withholding Information’: It Wasn’t Relevant To Where We Were In That Present Time
Some things are better left… off-camera. Well, at least, for ‘The Real Housewives of Potomac’s’ Robyn Dixon.
If you didn’t know, the topic of Bravo star Robyn Dixon’s husband, Juan, stepping out on her has been among the most discussed.
However, recently, Robyn Dixon made a little confession of her own, and it turns out… there is actually some truth to the looming rumor.
During an episode of her joint podcast, ‘Reasonably Shady,‘ with ‘The Real Housewives of Potomac’ castmate Gizelle Bryant, the 43-year-old cleared the air about the ongoing allegations and the lies attached to them.
She said,
“I debated on… addressing this. I don’t really give attention to stuff like this and to people who want attention. I was already aware of the situation, and I expected to talk about it on season seven. When it was presented to me, it was discussed; it was handled. It was something we had to work through.”
The Embellished owner added:
“Yes, Juan was an idiot and communicated with this woman on Instagram…Because he’s bored, he needs attention, it’s a pandemic–blah, blah, blah, whatever.”
The newest speculation (seemingly) stems from a TikTok video that was posted by reality TV commentator GeorgioSays, where he exposed that Juan had supposedly been involved with another woman during the COVID-19 pandemic and even flew her out to Maryland. Allegedly, the unnamed mistress dated Juan for over a year, and she showed receipts for her hotel stay.
However, ultimately, she left Juan alone after realizing that he (supposedly) likes to pass his “extracurricular” participants off to his homies, and she wasn’t down for that. The unidentified accuser also claimed that Mrs. Dixon knew of his infidelity and forbade her to ever go public about it.
Of course, following the newfound discovery, Dixon’s fellow housewives (and even their husbands) had their opinions on the matter, and it seems that they weren’t too happy about her need to keep her dirty laundry in the hamper.
Amid the latest season of ‘The Real Housewives of Potomac,‘ Candiace Dillard Bassett’s partner, Chris, was targeted after show members Ashley Darby and Gizelle Bryant accused him of coming at them inappropriately.
When speaking of Dixon’s secret situation with Juan, Candiace Dillard Bassett shared she felt that Dixon’s lack of transparency was unfair to the others (like herself) who willingly unveiled every aspect of their lives.
“Our boss’s favorite clap back when we’re playing coy about certain aspects of our lives is: ‘you’re on a reality show about your life.’ There is an expectation that – doing no harm – we show up to this platform as our authentic selves.”
Chris further expanded by adding,
“So wait… there were TRUTHS that were omitted/not filmed during our season… as a cast, we chose to tell FALSEHOODS & LIES about innocent people all season long & now we are charging for the truth? WTF. i’m good on this bullsh*t #rhop.”
But… not so fast! According to Dixon, Juan’s indiscretions are not as horrid as people may think. Apparently, Juan and his COVID bae were never intimate. While visiting ‘Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen,’ the former publicist opened up about the issue and made it known that they’d moved past it–indicating that there wasn’t a need to bring it to the show.
Addressing the elephant in the room, she explained,
“The hotel receipt comes into play because, for whatever reason, [the alleged mistress] decided that she wanted to fly to Maryland. And she had told Juan that she was dating a Baltimore Ravens player. So, she’s telling him she’s flying to Maryland. And he’s like, ‘Okay, whatever.’ Um… but, somewhere along the way, she gets to Maryland; she’s reaching out to him.”
Dixon continued, later affirming this was the only time Juan and the woman had ever met in person.
“She tells him she lost her wallet in the casino and she cannot pay for her hotel room. So, he feels bad for her. Um… apparently, she was like really stressed out, really distraught. He feels bad for her, [so] he goes to the hotel, puts his card down at the counter or whatever, and that’s it.”
Host Andy Cohen proceeded with side-eyeing Dixon’s story, but she stuck beside the fact that (although apprehensive… at first) she believes Juan and the case is closed.
Upon more questioning from Andy Cohen, which included asking her why she chose to reveal the details on her podcast instead of on set, Dixon elaborated by justifying that she and Juan had already dealt with it and moved forward before going into the seventh season.
Dixon told Cohen:
“It was so in the back of my mind. Like… we dealt with it; we moved on from it. I don’t know why I would say, ‘Hey, guys! Pick me! Let’s talk about my issues!’ It wasn’t an issue at that moment, while we were filming. It wasn’t relevant to where we were in that present time.”

Following ‘Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen,’ Dixon’s co-star, Karen Huger, (seemingly) had some things to say as well. It appears that Dixon also mentioned her while speaking with Cohen.
“Why is [Robyn] deflecting and calling my name on @BravoWWHL. These are your lies about you and yours.”
