Howard Stern Says Rihanna Lip-Synced ‘85%’ Of Her Viral Super Bowl Halftime Performance: I Don’t Even Know Why She Bothered Showing Up
It’s safe to say radio personality Howard Stern was not a fan of this year’s Super Bowl halftime show.
Though many believe that superstar songstress Rihanna dominated the stage on Sunday (February 12th), Howard Stern thinks most of her singing was fake.

Reportedly, the vet radio host stated:
“You know, I don’t even know why she bothered showing up. I could be wrong, but in my opinion, 85 percent of that performance was lip sync…The big giveaway might be when she puts the microphone down by her knees and her lips aren’t moving and the other voices are going,”

Stern also had a little jokey joke about the musician, born Robyn ‘Rihanna‘ Fenty, 34, adding:
“I had a theory, Rihanna was not lip-syncing, but she put the microphone near her vagina so the new baby could sing. The baby was singing backup.”

As previously reported, Rihanna shook the entire world that evening, revealing she is pregnant for the second time. The nine-time Grammy Award-winning artist had her first child with boyfriend, Rakim ‘A$AP Rocky‘ Mayers, 34, back in May of last year.

Social media users pointed out the singer’s belly bump during the performance, simultaneously discussing how her dance moves, which are normally hard-hitting, seemed a bit slower than usual. However, things became perfectly clear after Rihanna’s rep confirmed the coming baby after the show.

Fellow singer Sheryl Lee Ralph also received the same accusations for her NFL performance of “Life Every Voice and Sing.” Social media users debated if the “Abbott Elementary” star also lip-synced her performance. The legendary songstress subsequently kept it classy, however, responding to the rumors:
“Does it matter? Does it matter? No. Thank you.”
