Update: Iggy Azalea Slams Ex Playboi Carti Over His Felony Charge For Allegedly Choking Pregnant Girlfriend: Warned You

Update: (Feb. 14, 2023): Iggy Azalea wasted no time in slamming her baby’s daddy for the domestic abuse allegations he’s currently facing.

The Australian native recently took to Twitter and fired off a few tweets aimed at her ex-boyfriend Playboi Carti. As you may recall, the pair reportedly started dating in 2018. However, after having a child together, they broke up in 2020. Since their split, Iggy Azalea has alleged multiple times that Carti is an absentee parent who is rarely there for their young son Onyx Kelly.

In her tweets today she reiterated those claims and said,

“Been there. Done that. Warned you.”

She continued,

“Imagine having a pregnant girlfriend and pretending they don’t exist until it comes out you like to abuse them too – & rarely visiting your actual son unless is because you’re running from whatever problems ya got going on in Atlanta & the press with your serial abuse of woman”

She then added,

“Anyway. I’m having an actually amazing day! karmas real! Treat the people you love well! Happy Valentine’s Day.”

Original story: (Feb. 14, 2023): Playboi Carti is making headlines, and unfortunately, it isn’t for his music.

According to reports, the “Sky” rapper was arrested in Georgia for allegedly choking his pregnant girlfriend following an argument over a paternity test. Reportedly, Playboi Carti, 26, and the alleged victim had been dating for two years prior to the incident – which occured in December – and living together since July 2022. The woman was 14 weeks pregnant at the time of the alleged attack.

The woman told police that she thought she was going to die when Playboi Carti, born Jordan Carter, grabbed her by her throat and held her neck until she could barely breathe, according to the arrest affidavit. The woman said that a witness jumped in to try and break up the fight, and when she was able to escape Carti’s grasp, she ran to her car. However, once there, the rapper attacked her again and even attempted to pull her out of the vehicle as she tried to use the car’s SOS feature to call authorities.

Allegedly, when cops made it to the scene the rapper’s pregnant girlfriend had visible injuries to her neck, chest, and back. Carti was arrested for felony aggravated assault.

When news of the alleged assault broke today (Feb. 14) Playboi Carti’s lawyer released a statement denying the allegations against the entertainer. They said,

“Mr. Carter was falsely accused. Pursuant to my communications with the Fulton County District Attorney‘s office, this case will be dismissed without any prosecution or litigation.”

Last April Carti found himself making headlines after his first baby’s mother, rapper Iggy Azalea, 32, called him out for being an absentee parent. As previously reported, after Carti claimed he financially took care of Iggy Azalea during an interview, she took to Twitter and blasted him for what he said. She tweeted,
