‘Bridgerton’ Actor Regé-Jean Page Set To Executive Produce Upcoming Muhammad Ali Series
While “Creed 3” is already breaking records in the theaters another project about the boxing world will soon be on streaming platforms!
According to reports, an eight-part series about Muhammad Ali is in the works and it will have people like Morgan Freeman, Regé-Jean Page, and more involved! The upcoming show, which will air on Peacock, is called “Excellence: 8 Fights,” and will be written by Oscar-winning writer Kevin Willmont.
Willmont has written for hit films such as “BlaKKKlansman” and “Da 5 Bloods.”
“Excellence: 8 Fights” will be based on bestselling author Jonathan Eigs’ biography of the legendary athlete titled “Ali: A life.”

Golden Globe-winning actor Morgan Freeman will take on the role as executive producer alongside Regé-Jean Page, Kevin Willmont, Lori Mcreary, and Emily Brown.
Regé-Jean Page is best known for his role as the handsome Duke of Hastings, Simon Basset, in the popular Netflix series “Bridgerton.” He was honored with an NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Actor in a Drama Series in 2021 for his performance. The show has recently released the trailer for the third season. But, just like the second, Page will not be a part of that season.
Renowned movie star, Morgan Freeman, has been on the big screen for quite some time. His most notable projects include “The Shawshank Redemption,” “Driving Miss Daisy,” “Kiss the Girls,” and “Now You See Me.”
