GloRilla & Finesse2tymes Concert Victim’s Family Plans to Sue Rappers Following Show Stampede That Left 3 People Dead
It looks like GloRilla and Finesse2tymes are in a bit of legal trouble.
The family of one of the three people who died from the tragic stampede at their New York concert is planning to file a lawsuit against the rappers.
According to reports, the family of Brandy Miller plans to sue GloRilla, Finesse2tymes as well as the promoters and the Main Street Armory in Rochester, N.Y.
Brandy’s sister, Michelle, shared that her family is in the process of retaining a high-profile attorney because they have “no plans to back down.” The Millers believe Brandy’s death could have been prevented.
As previously reported, during the rappers’ performance, chaos ensued as concertgoers attempted to rush to safety after shots were allegedly fired inside the venue. As a result, three people died after succumbing to injuries following the stampede. Authorities have since shared they don’t believe a shooting ever occurred but instead, the crowd reacted to “accounts of individuals hearing what they believed to be gunshots.”
The three people who died are identified as 33-year-old Rhondesia Belton, Aisha Stephens, 35, and Brandy Miller, 35.
According to reports, both GloRilla and Finesse left the venue before the stampede occurred. Neither artist is under criminal investigation for the incident at this time. Both rappers expressed their condolences to the victim’s family.
During a recent interview, Finesse said,
“As far as the situation in New York, condolences to the family and the people who was injured.”
GloRilla took to Twitter to share her thoughts on the tragic event.
“I’m just now hearing about what happened wtf praying everybody is ok.”
She later added,
“I am devastated & heartbroken over the tragic deaths that happened after Sunday’s show. My fans mean the world to me praying for their families & for a speedy recovery of everyone affected.”
