Tasha K Issues Apology To Cardi B After Losing Appeal To Have $4M Judgement Thrown Out For Defaming The Rapper: ‘Talk About A Check My Mouth Can’t Cash’

Pigs must be flying because popular blogger Tasha K has finally issued an apology to rapper Cardi B!

As you may already know, Cardi B’s legal team has been working overtime to get the millions the rapper is owed from Tasha K. At the top of 2022, Cardi B won a $4 million judgment against Tasha K who was ultimately held liable for defamation, invasion of privacy, and intentional infliction of emotional distress after posting negligent YouTube content about the rapper. It’s been over a year since Cardi’s victory and she still hasn’t gotten paid.

Tasha K did want she could to get out of handing over the millions to the “I Like It” artist and even filed an appeal. She also accused the judge who oversaw the trial of improperly allowing the exclusion of character evidence that was “extremely relevant” to show the jury what she deemed to be the true Cardi B.

However, it looks like despite her best efforts not to, Tasha K will be getting her coins together to pay Cardi.

Earlier today (Mar. 21) The media personality shared with her 400K+ Instagram followers that she lost her appeal. In a shocking turn of events, she also issued an apology to Cardi.

She wrote,

“D*mn Winos! & We lost the appeal… against #CardiB sad day..but l’m gonna be alright… I appreciate all your love & support. Throughout this fight. Today we throw in the white flag… what happened will never happen again…”

She added,

“To Cardi & Her team, I apologize sincere. We Live, & Learn…. /I see y’all Wednesday on YouTube & TashaKlive.com”

She captioned her post,

“Talk about a check my mouth can’t cash”

Cardi B has yet to address Tasha K’s apology but she’s probably happy to see the back-and-forth following the case come to an end. The mother-of-two initially sued Tasha K in 2019. In October 2022, following her court win, Cardi B attempted to seize any profits made from Tasha K’s YouTube videos. Her attorneys sent legal documents to Google — YouTube’s parent company — demanding that the company hold any money owed to the blogger.
