Beyoncé Seemingly Announces New Hair Care Line Is On The Way

It looks like Beyonce might be dipping her toe in the beauty industry.

On Tuesday (May 16) the music icon took to Instagram and shared a photo of herself sitting at a vanity mirror curling her hair, surrounded by bottles with white labels that look like samples. She also shared a throwback photo of herself as a child and paired the images with a handwritten note alluding to her next endeavor.

In her note, Beyoncé strongly hinted that she will soon be releasing a brand of some sort, seemingly related to hair care.

She wrote,

“How many of ya’ll knew my first job was sweeping hair in my mama’s salon? Destiny’s Child got our start by performing for clients while they were getting their hair done. I was exposed to so many different kinds of entrepreneurial women in her salon.”

She continued,

“I saw firsthand how the ways we nurture and celebrate hair can directly impact our souls. I watched her heal and be of service to so many women. Having learned so much on my hair journey, I’ve always dreamed of carrying on her legacy. “

She ended with,

“I can’t wait for you to experience what I’ve been creating.”

As no surprise, fans were ecstatic and quickly began speculating what exactly Beyoncé has planned.

One fan wrote,

“Yesss hairline or hair care line coming up yessssss”

Another person said,

“Will be buying the hair products.”

Beyonce’s announcement comes nearly two months after her departure from Adidas.

As previously reported, the 41-year-old entrepreneur and the lifestyle brand amicably decided to part ways. However, sources said the duo wasn’t supposed to sever the contract until after 2023.

Beyoncé and Adidas partnered creatively in 2018, during which time she re-launched her Ivy Park activewear clothing line and created new sneakers and apparel for the company.

However, it appears Ivy Park and Adidas had significant creative disagreements, and Beyoncé wanted to reclaim her brand and forge her own path.

As previously reported, in February reports claimed that Ivy Park was underperforming, missing over $200 million in internal sales projections last year. The superstar’s clothing line reportedly made up to $40 million in sales in 2022, a $93 million reduction from 2021.
