Jay-Z & Beyoncé’s New $200M Mansion Will Reportedly Serve As A Weekend Home

Jay-Z and Beyoncé are always the talk of the town… literally!

Last week, it was reported that Jay-Z and Beyoncé had purchased the most expensive home (ever) in California, for a whopping total of $200 million.

The Malibu pad, initially valued at $295 million (deemed the second-highest real estate deal in the country), holds 30,000 square feet and 8 acres.

Japanese architect Tadao Ando designed the luxurious residence. Ando is also the mastermind behind Kanye West’s recently bought humble Malibu abode.

Prior to Jay-Z and Beyoncé’s mega purchase, the mansion was owned by illustrious art collector William Bell, who built it over a span of 15 years.

However, although The Carters spent a pretty penny on their newest addition, which was paid for in cash, sources are claiming that they won’t actually be moving in right now. Well, at least, not officially.

Instead, they’re (allegedly) keeping their Bel-Air living space as their main property. Supposedly, Jay and Bey aren’t giving up their current $100-million beauty, which they originally snagged for $88 million in 2017, because it’s in the district of their children’s schools, and they aren’t quite ready to leave their close friends behind.

According to insiders, the end goal is to fully relocate to the Malibu location, but for now… it will be used on the weekends.

Either way, with Hov’s endless business endeavors and Queen Bey’s ‘Renaissance Tour,’ we all know that there are no limits to what they can afford.
