Kim Kardashian Seemingly Reflects On Past Relationship w/ Kanye West: ‘You Cannot Help People That Don’t Want The Help’
Kim Kardashian is sharing some of her most intimate feelings.
During a recent interview on the On Purpose with Jay Shetty podcast, the SKIMS CEO admitted that she is in a “very good place” and that the people currently in her life are “really solid.”
However, her journey to peace didn’t come easy.
Kim Kardashian said,
“Something I learned is that you cannot help people that don’t want the help. You can’t force your beliefs and project that on someone that thinks something totally different.”
She continued,
“It’s okay to have those different views. It’s why the world goes round. But if you don’t align in the same values and morals and things at your core, then it’s okay to realize that this life is so short, and you should go and find the people that do align with what you really believe in.”
Kim Kardashian noted there are times when differences can coexist extremely well and other times when they can’t.
She didn’t mention anyone specifically, but it appears Kardashian was referencing her relationship with entrepreneur and rapper Kanye West. The two were legally divorced in November 2022 after eight years of marriage. They share four children: North, 9, Saint, 7, Chicago, 5, and Psalm West, 4.
Since their split, Kardashian has dated — and ended things — with former Saturday Night Live star Pete Davidson. Kanye West moved on with actress Julia Fox before marrying Bianca Censori, the head of architecture for his Yeezy brand.
During the interview, Kardashian noted,
“Sometimes I feel like people think that if a relationship doesn’t work out that it’s a failure, but I don’t really look at it like that 15 years together, 10 years. That’s not a failure. That is so beautiful.”
